Integrating with social networks most of us already use such as Facebook and Twitter, you can send out a custom emergency message with your exact location, helping authorities pinpoint exactly where you are. The application can also send a message via text message to any mobile phone. What if you are unable to send out the message at the exact moment it happens? Social Alert's got you covered. It allows you to set the emergency message with a countdown timer, which if not deactivated, sends out the message automatically. This is very useful for when you do not trust your surroundings and want to make sure you can be found in the event of an emergency.
